Artist Statement

Patricia Brock

I am a natural and available light photographer with my goal to capture the images as they look with the play of light, shadows and colors.  My photography is contemporary in style using both black & white and color images which are printed in large format on metallic paper, brushed aluminum, canvas, acrylic panels, glass and photographic papers.

Every image offers up close and intimate views of nature, local surroundings and architectural elements, drawing individuals into the photograph. My work offers views that have public appeal and creates a calming, friendly and productive workspace environment.

I am a juried participant of the Kentucky Arts Council’s Kentucky Crafted Program, and The Architectural Artists Directory and a juried exhibiting member of The Louisville Artisans Guild. My work is available in The Berea Artisan Center, Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft (KMAC) and KORE Gallery.
